SPRING START-UP PROGRAM

Spring start-ups begin during the latter half of March. It is at this time that Herzog Landscape Solutions would start up and fine tune your irrigation system for the season. A typical spring start-up program may include:

  • Annual mandatory testing and maintenance of backflow devices
  • Opening of the main shut off valve
  • Program irrigation timer
  • Making necessary irrigation head adjustments

WINTERIZATION SERVICES/SHUT-DOWN

Winter shut down services are scheduled between October and November of each year. A typical irrigation shut-down would include the following

  • System winterization including line blow out and clock shut down

This is a necessary process when having an irrigation system in order to prevent pipes from freezing and causing damage.
